 Bethany Vance
Mrs. Vance recently graduated with her BA in Linguistics from Seattle Pacific University in June 2010.  In 7th grade, she began her Spanish studies and continues to find it to be a fascinating language.  She also studied Russian and Biblical Greek in college.  In the summer of 2009, Bethany took a trip to Guatemala where she had a chance to speak Spanish as well as learn bits of an indigenous language, K’anjob’al.  Recently married, she hopes to learn many other languages in the future with her husband, Ronnie.  Bethany has had experience teaching in several different areas, from piano lessons to swimming lessons.  In college, she also took several classes on teaching foreign languages.  She has learned a lot from her first year of teaching Spanish at Coram Deo and is excited to teach again next year
