Finish the Figurative Language chart from class and draw a picture for one of the boxes.

Write a description of an imaginary person. Say where he is from, what he likes, physical description, what he wears, his name, etc.

• Hand in answers to Chapter questions

For Oct. 5

• Make cards for:  3 people - Goodyear, Lavoisier, and Boyle - one person per card; 3 vocabulary - alchemy, element, atom and 3 elements - carbon, sulfur and phosphorus
• Bring one item containing carbon, sulfur or phosphorus

Bibliography–One per group. Please type! If any one group earns 100%, they will each get 10 extra bonus points.

*Bring supplies to work on Oral Report.

FABLE (may be one of your choice)–KW outline, Summarize, Include 3 Dress-Ups (-ly, who/which, because) and make sure to underline!
