Finish outlining the persuasive essay (topic: women in combat).

Write a paragraph in your RRJ on a controversial topic of your choice. Practice making an argument and using evidence to defend it.

RRJ Due–Entries and Vocabulary. Make sure to bring it to class!!

Type two paragraphs of the elephant article. Underline dress-ups/label openers.

Study Lessons 19 and 20.  Do exercises 18 and 19.  Do additional exercise for Lesson 19, page 115. The directions for question 1 are “locate the conclusion in each of the sample argument.”  Instead of “locate” read “write down”.
