Grammar–Direct Objects

RRJ–Work on entries and vocabulary!

Finish the event description that was outlined in class today. Make sure to use 6 dress-ups/4 openers and include clinchers/title. Type if possible!

Punctuation I; c/a, I #1-3

Rough draft of persuasive essay–make this as close to final copy as possible.  (title page, typed, double spaced, etc.) HOWEVER, no paper is perfect and should be edited with a partner! We’ll do this in class on Tuesday. You might also find a willing adult who will proof it outside of class.

Study: Lessons 23 & 24. 

Do:  Exercise 22.  Also do additional exercises on Lessons 23 & 24, page 156.

PLEASE!  Start right in on this work.  The next lessons are going to be tough, so don’t wait until December 2 to get with it.

• Write a summary for each book. If you have missed some make sure you are caught up!!
• Prepare for a quiz/recitation on Thursday. I will cover some of the things we discussed today, such as the omens, the death and resurrection theme, how Homer portrays the women,  as well as names and places.  You will be allowed to use your books - some of the questions will be essay questions. If you have been listening in class and participating, you will have no problem.

Begin working on RRJ.
