Writing Homework: Lysander flipflops in his affections as a result of the magic flower. Compare his earlier loving statements to Hermia (1.1.130-170 & 2.2.41-70) with his current vows to Helena. What conclusions can you draw about Lysander from this comparison? In a few paragraphs, explain your conclusions, citing specific lines to support your claims.

1. RRJ with 5 entries/10 vocab. entries. If you had it done by today, bring a note from your parents.
2. Memorization Practice 3–Write out completely. Use book as little as possible. Also, practice this out loud since we would have done that in class!

2. Work on your second set of keyword outlines, fused outline, and summary (for your report topic). That means you should have two complete sets done by Thursday!! At this point, you have a two paragraph report…with the third on the way. Don’t forget your dress-ups, openers, and clinchers.

*MSND has several references to dreams; the word appears 16 times in the play. In 2.2.1-163 Hermia dreams of a snake only to wake and find Lysander has abandoned her. Write a short essay (2-3 paragraphs) explaining how useful or predictive you believe dreams are. Use examples from real life, history, and literature for support.
